A web site is an investment in both advertising and marketing and can reap huge rewards in both sales and exposure if done correctly. Now those in need of internet presence and marketing can achieve this without the high cost of web site creation by having this page. As the need grows for a full web site presents itself Forbes and Asssociates is happy to assist in a full web site creation.
Since Business Happenings in Orlando is actively marketed in traditional marketing strategies and well as internet marketing, the web pages are also marketed through indirect visitors. Winter Park, FL April 11, 2006 - Started nine years ago the Business Happenings in Orlando web site accepted news and events for the Orlando business community. Over the course of nine years the web site was expanded to accept sponsor and volunteer opportunities and area networking groups. The piecemeal upgrades lead to a high maintenance web site and from time to time site failure.
On April 10, 2006 the newly re-written Business Happenings in Orlando was released. Registered users are given the opportunity to post events, news, business listing and bookmark networking contacts. All of these are manageable by the user and provides statistics such a how many people viewed and/or been added to anothers bookmark. Experts in several categories are now able to create multiple articles and archive their previous articles for viewers to retrieve at their discression.
The new Business Happenings In Orlando has been completely re-written with the user in mind and how to take their information and using internet marketing ideas pass this information globally. Experts have been provided their own RSS feed so anyone may install this on their desktop reader and get the articles without using the site. An XML feed has been created for use by search engines and news spiders that includes all aspects of the site, members, business listings, articles, etc.
Business Happenings In Orlando believes in taking in community information and then getting this information out to every media format possible. It is not a site that takes in information then keeps it on site; Expert articles and news events are submitted to news feed sites for exposure to new readers and the XML formatted feeds can be used by other websites to display information.
Since Business Happenings in Olando is actively marketed and is search engine friendly it ranks well and indexed by all the major search engines. This is an especially important aspect for business listings and events in that tourists to Central Florida that are planning trips came include Business Happenings In Orlando as a resource to plan their activities while in Central Florida.

As many of you know, or if you don’t, we are in the process of upgrading the site. This is just the first step and once the upgrades are final Business Happenings In Orlando will turn in Orlando Happenings and it is slated to offer you a lot of information and abilites as members. So this weekend we began by moving to a new server, cleaning up some code, and adding new functionalities.
The move to the new server required some code clean-up in general and provided the opportunity to change some needed formatting. All pretty basic stuff so I won’t bore you with the full details.
I will however let you know of a great new feature to Business Happenings in Orlando. Your looking at it! This area (News/Articles) is the place to find out such things as this sites news, articles, and other posts. Another great feature of this is that it allows us to syndicate this content. Immediately after you submit a comment, a post, or article it is send to appropriate websites for inclusion.
What this means is that any site that has included our RSS feed displays everything here. As long as it’s approved that is. More information will be announced about this great feature in the up-coming newsletter. You can also register to this area and leave us a comment about this post.
Stay Tuned as More to Come!!
