45 years ago on a cold snowy Easter morning (I lived in Minnesota), my grandmother called me saying she had to move from her apartment where she had lived for the past 15 years because it had been sold. I comforted my grandmother by promising to help her find a new home. This event became the beginning of my journey in caring for the elderly. After my grandmother's death, my family moved to Orlando, Florida where I continued to care for seniors who could no longer care for themselves. In 1977, my home was among the first to be licensed in Central Florida. Over the years it has been my joy to provide a family setting in meeting the needs for the elderly. Today, there are many choices available to seniors. I invite you to visit our senior retirement home in Maitland to see if we could be of help in caring for your loved one.
